From Viaqua, we continue working on the dissemination of the Waterun project in the local environment of Santiago, one of the Waterun Case Study locations where two SUDS and one constructed wetland will be installed.
On this occasion, the European Waterun project was presented at the conference "Environmental solutions for local entities", organised by Viratec, the Sustainability Excellence Club and the Xunta de Galicia (Regional Goverment), held in Santiago de Compostela. The event was attended by public entities, companies and startups to enhance the knowledge of local entities in environmental solutions, making known the public initiatives that are being implemented and the most advanced solutions in the areas of water, waste, communications, mobility, energy, buildings and artificial intelligence.
Rocío Montañés, Director of the Environmental Welfare Area, Basic and Community Services of the city council of Santiago de Compostela, presented the European project Waterun, representing the one of the key stakeholders in this case study. This project was presented as a case of good practices in the development of environmental solutions for local entities.
