WATERUN project partners unite in Santiago de Compostela for the M30 Project General Assembly

The WATERUN M30 Project General Assembly brought together its diverse partnership in Santiago de Compostela, from November 12th to 14th. The consortium meeting of the project coordinated by AIMEN was hosted by the partners VIAQUA and CETAQUA at their facilities in Santiago de Compostela, the General Assembly provided a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning.

The first day of the meeting was dedicated to a transformative business model workshop led by SEECON, a key project partner. This  interactive session empowered researchers to shift their perspectives and develop innovative strategies for commercializing project outcomes. By utilizing visual tools and dynamics proposed by SEECON, the partners collectivelly mapped out the business landscape for each project result, laying the groundwork for future implementation and management.

The subsequent two days were devoted to track project progress, coordinating efforts, and leveraging synergies among the three case studies of the project: Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Aarhus (Denmark) and Amman (Jordan). Several focused workshops delved into the latests project results, facilitating discussions on future steps and potential collaborations.

Moreover, all the partners joined for a visit to the project pilots being constructed in Santiago. This experience allowed the participants to witness the impact of the project, observe the design solutions, and understand the adaptations being made to suit the local context.

The General Assembly extended beyond the core partnership, with the third session of the Local Co-Creation Committee taking place on November 15th. This session, facilitated by SEECON with the participation of several partners, welcomed external stakeholders, providing a valuable opportunity to share insights, receive feedback, and refine the project's trajectory based on real-world experiences.

By uniting experts from diverse fields and fostering a collaborative spirit, the WATERUN Project M30 General Assembly solidified its commitment for developing sustainable water runoff management  solutions and driving positive change.
