The event included notable speeches featuring the Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation, who emphasized Jordan's ongoing efforts to address its severe water scarcity, placing it among the world's most water-poor countries. The Egyptian Minister of Water Resources highlighted the reliance of 21 Arab countries on shared water resources, such as the Nile, Euphrates, and Jordan Rivers, underscoring the geopolitical complexities of water management and the pressing need for regional cooperation in line with international law.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni Minister of Water and Environment addressed the significance of good governance, the role of the private sector, and international partnerships in financing sustainable projects, improving water consumption efficiency, and ensuring the resilience of local communities.
