From the 5th to the 7th of May, the WATERUN project members gathered in Aarhus (Denmark) for the last consortium meeting of the project. The first day was dedicated to work package presentations, followed by a case study field visit.
During the second day, the partners showcased the five innovative products at the heart of the WATERUN project, with dedicated training session:
- Product 1: A portable system to detect microplastics & PAHs directly in the field
- Product 2: Software to identify critical pollutant sources
- Product 3: Modelling tools to analyse urban runoff & reduce pollutant discharge
- Product 4: Green infrastructure solutions for stormwater treatment & hands-on training
- Product 5: A decision support system based on health & environmental risk assessment
The day closed with a presentation of the WATERUN Toolbox & training package a practical, ready-to-use resource for cities tackling urban water pollution. Five products for the same goal: have cleaner cities and healthier water.
